About POST 3000

Our History: Started By Jorge E. Burden and ten of his fellow Veterans in 1976. From then on, Quartz Hill Post 3000 continued to grow to what it is Today. Someone that believed that there needed to be a place locally that Served and provided a place for Veterans to Help Veterans, and be a place to continue to serve not just our country, but our Brothers and Sister in Arms, and to future Brothers and sisters to come.

VISION: We stand strong with the Vision and traditions of the VFW itself, which are fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational. We at POST 3000 will ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

OUR MISSION: We of VFW Post 3000 foster camaraderie among veterans of overseas conflicts. We serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans in our Post and Veterans in our Communities.

Our Place: A Place where those that are both members, Non-members, Auxiliary, and Family. A safe location with dedicated Staff and personnel. A place to volunteer and serve those that served and that are still serving. A place were folks greet one another, yell each others name out when you walk in, a smile, shake hands, a hug maybe and have respect one another. A place knowing that those in this place are reflections those we miss, and have served with. A place to remember and to appreciate the scarifies that have been made by our Nations Soldiers. Veterans have given us a place, to relax, enjoy comradery and family. A place to love and to visit and call our own.
